And now there’s a way you can give a lift
to neighbors
for health-related activities.

RIDERS

HAVE A HARD TIME GETTING TO HEALTH-RELATED ACTIVITIES? COULD YOU USE A FREE LIFT?


It’s hard to get around in the Berkshires.
But now there’s a way you can get a free lift from a neighbor for health-related activities.

To volunteer you just need to:

Be fully vaccinated for COVID-19

Have a reliable vehicle and safe driving record.

Provide proof of insurance.

Be available for a shift or to be on-call.

Attend a 75-minute orientation session.

 

           Mileage reimbursement available

To be a rider you just have to:

  Be able to get in and out of the car yourself.
  Book each ride at least two working days in advance.
  Be reliable, canceling or rescheduling any ride at
  least two working days in advance.


Priority will be given to medical appointments (including counseling,
prescriptions and COVID-19 Vaccination), then access to food and to human/social services, and then to other activities that promote wellness such as exercise, laundry, etc.
It’s also a way to get to know more of your driver/neighbors.
